When a whole squadron of fighter craft go missing, the Yorktown is sent to investigate. There they find the left over wreckage of both Starfleet and Romulan ships. Stiles sends out a party in a shuttle to investigate a Romulan ship that is still half intact. Upon them boarding the ship, they are lost and another explosion starts from the last of the damaged ships.
